Screening and Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP)
Burlington County's Screening & Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) is located within the emergency department of Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro, NJ and is operated by The Drenk Center. Open 24 hours a day, SCIP offers emergency psychiatric services and aims to maximize use of the least restrictive alternative for treatment of psychiatric illness. Services include:
- Outreach
- 24-hour screening and psychiatry coverage
- Referrals
- Seven day follow-up evaluations
- Medication monitoring
- Psycho-education to families
